OuagaNet: Help us help others in dire needs
Ouaganet is a grass-root nonprofit organization which operates in rural areas of Burkina Faso, a poor French speaking country in West Africa. We are a result oriented and dynamic organization working hard to fight extreme poverty, illiteracy, diseases and hunger in the rural areas. The mission of OuagaNet is:
1. To sustain life and prevent illness by working to obtain donations of medical supplies, first aid equipment and vitamins for deprived public clinics and to support community health volunteers in rural areas with donations of medicine.
2. To help the poor and disadvantaged youth of Burkina Faso in rural areas obtain a basic education and assist rural communities with primary education needs
3. To organize and educate the villagers about basic health care and STDs, by conducting community health programs, raising awareness about high blood pressure, and encouraging trained medical staff to undertake benevolent heath programs in Burkina Faso.
4. To empower women and villagers, by helping to create sustainable activities that can have a long term impact in their lives.
